Booking.

Answers.

1. How shortly before departure can a booking be made?

It is often possible to book as late as one day before departure for offers for which the documents can be provided online. The system automatically offers you the next possible travel date.

2. When will I receive the travel documents?

Immediately on completion of the booking, your travel documents will be provided to you online as printable PDF files. In addition, you will receive links to the documents in the email confirmation, to ensure that you receive them. You can then conveniently print all the necessary travel documents from your own PC. Documents are not additionally sent by post.

3. What payment options are available?

Payments can be made by Visa or MasterCard.

4. Which trains can be used with the ticket?

The advantage of the tickets is that they offer a free choice of trains and times, without any ICE/EC/IC surcharges. All Deutsche Bahn trains can be used, excluding motorail trains. Night trains and ICE Sprinters can be used with a surcharge. Tickets can only be sold in combination with a hotel reservation.

5. How long is the ticket valid for? Can my journey be interrupted?

The ticket price is for a return trip. Any usual route or any route required by the timetable in the direction of the destination is permitted. Each leg of the journey (outward and return) must be completed by the day after departure. The ticket is valid for one month from the initial departure date.

6. Can tickets be booked from abroad?

For technical reasons, train tickets cannot be booked with departure from abroad.

7. Is it possible to cancel or change a booking?

Changes and cancellations are possible; fees apply as detailed in our General Terms and Conditions.

8. Is it possible to start the journey from different stations?

Yes, a booking of several people departing from different stations is generally possible. However, for technical reasons it is not possible to book this online.

9. How can I make a seat reservation on a train?

You can make reservations directly through Deutsche Bahn. Reservation fees are 4 Euros per person one way in 2nd class and 5 Euros per person one way in 1st class (subject to change).
