Berlin additionally offers its guests a fascinating cityscape composed of vast lakes, parks and forests. There are also many attractions in the surrounding area, including the city of Potsdam.

The Brandenburg Gate

Berlin - The Brandenburg Gate - © amandare - Fotolia.comUntil 1989 Berlin's main landmark, the Brandenburg Gate, was a symbol of the city's East and West division. Today it serves as a national symbol of German unity. Since the restoration efforts of 2002, it is now more beautiful than ever. From Brandenburg Gate, you can walk across Pariser Platz to the famous "Unter den Linden" boulevard.
