Data Protection and Security.

Security.

How secure is transmission of my data to Ameropa via the Internet?

The security of your data is one of our prime concerns at http://english.ameropa.de. Each data transmission in the course of an order procedure is effected with the secure socket layer (SSL) encoding method at up to 128 bit. SSL is used by banks worldwide to handle online banking and conforms with the current maximum security standards on the Internet. As soon as you have entered your data to register or place an order and clicked the submit button, your data is encoded and then transmitted to us, so that it is protected against external access.

Security: Checking your encryption

Ameropa has implemented an encryption system to protect your transactions with us. Any personal details entered including credit card payments will automatically be encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL). The address http://www.ameropa.de is therefore automatically converted to https://www.ameropa.de. You will see a padlock symbol at the bottom of your screen to confirm secured data transmission.

Microsoft Internet Explorer:

    ● In order to check your encryption single-click the right mouse button and choose menu item “properties”
    ● Single-click the menu item “connection” on the following web page to see the state of encryption

Mozilla / Firefox:
